The housing market in Western Sahara probably provides very limited opportunities for buying a house overseas, which when looking at a map and seeing how close it is is to the Canaries (and neighbouring Morocco) this may surprise you. The country has very basic facilities, and is extremely sparsely populated. The sovereignty of Western Sahara is still disputed - with Morocco laying claim to the land.
